Deck all hall with boughs of holly...fa la la la la ....

Deck all halls with boughs of holly
fa la la la la lala la!!

........after Thanksgiving for many years I have had the pleasure of transforming homes with the elements of HolidaY.
Clients go out of town or to the city overnight, for theatre
or shopping spree and return to a funfilled fantasy next day.

My family has missed me for many years and many hours before Thansksgiving- but my daughter and I have had the traditional experiences of creating such extraordinary transformations for businesses, residences and resturants all those years - choosing many trees and boughs for staircases, has been a most fascinating experince, cherished by all of us.

luminaries

were prepared and gathered to light the way for the christ child- to guide him through the night, to symbolize the star that broke the heavens with angels refrains.

many renditions of the sack luminary is portrayed by different
cultures and occasions-
christmas, easter, halloween weddings,
anything extraordinary with 'special attached'

all and any celebratory lighting with silloette
approach on parchment

Holiday Movie sets

so much of our design inspiration-
comes from elevated moments in movies-
the feeling- the warmth -the tears -
the reality of past experiences through
others life's

my very most inspiring elf designer with a whimiscal
touch for white things-
Buddy- what he does with a piece of paper
and lights is beyond fusion...and he knows "Santa"

Home for the holidays!

Creating your nest for the Holidays- is always a delight - for if it is your first approach as a newly wed or
to the tradtional gatherings of elmental decor
given you from family and shopping events-
all are a essential moments for your reflection and memories of family, places-music or inspiration past.
Putting on the carols with the warmth of a cocoa cup between your hands, and the squint of the eyes to make certain your lights are evenly distributed-
ahhh the holidays.

Fireplace gathering is the most intriging of elements

this fabulous Cole and son wallpaper, of trees in woods with logs are a backdrop for winter fantasy with yet a semi elf Buddy inspired penguin moment. While the urn and gold are brought back to a natural elegant element with warm testures of pinecones.......

light globes and formal scale -

all can be approached with even the least amount of patience and whim- from target purchased balls and gathered pinecones- while clipping a neighbors pine tree, nature and outside environments
provide elegant dippings for your enjoyment... just commiting to the purchase of a fine large glass "vaaa-aase"
you ought do it!

"happy decking"

Christmas is coming the goose is getting fat------ it is always Christmas after Thanksgiving-especially for those that create christmas- for others to wake up from turkey to! I have loved having the families leave their homes in our hands and stay downtown -or out of town - then come to a fantasy filled Christmas delight. Each room with a glimmer and ready to sing carols to!

Blast from the Past

I am the process of organizing the photos on our office computer. I came across this great house Juidiith designed and just needed to share.
